Moana

Disney movie debuted to critical acclaim in 2016. It stars an adventurous teenager named Moana who lives on a Polynesian island in ancient times and is directed; by Ron Clements and John Musker.

Moana is the tale of a strong-willed and ocean lover who sets an expedition to save her island people. Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui along the way, who helps her in finding her way through the ocean. They go on an action-packed journey across the ocean, confronting monstrous beasts and hopeless odds. Along the way, she completes her ancestors’ old quest and discovers her own identity.

Lion King

The Lion King movie depicts the journey of a young lion cub growing up and accepting his royal destiny. Simba begins his existence as a renowned prince, the son of King Mufasa. When Simba’s terrible uncle Scar murders Mufasa for the jungle throne and forces him out of the kingdom, the cub’s joyful childhood turns tragic. In exile, the young lion makes friends with the absurd Pumbaa (the warthog) and Timon (the meerkat), and all lead a pleasant jungle life. While growing up he is often visited by the spirit of Mufasa, who motivates him to defeat the evil Scar and regain his throne.
